GodLike Esports formally confirmed Abhijeet Harishchandra Andhare, often known as Ghatak,’s departure on December 11. In August 2021, the club hired him on as a coach and mentor for the BGMI team.
The popular organization recently altered the roster for the BGMI, but the results were not as positive as they had planned.
GodLike Esports shared a video on social media along with the following statement to mark Ghatak’s departure:
“Joined as a Legend and Now Leaving Behind a Legacy. Thank You Ghatak for your contributions to the organisation and we wish you a very successful and bright future ahead.”

GodLike Esports shocked everyone on August 26, 2021, by signing Ghatak and the rest of the former TSM India lineup. At the moment, the squad was playing with conviction, and they kept up that form.
Ghatak’s background greatly aided the organization’s development. In September 2021, the club became victorious in the Skyesports Championship 3.0, a significant third-party competition. In October of that year, the lineup kept up the good work, winning both Loco War of Glory and Ranbhoomi Season 1.
GodLike Esports participated in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 but was ranked 13th due to underwhelming performance. The team secured the fourth position in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2021.
Following that, the team had difficulty in a number of competitions, but they recovered to place second in the BGMS Season 1. In July 2022, Battlegrounds Mobile India was outlawed by the government.
The gaming prohibition did not cause the company to disband its roster. Krafton brought BGMI back to life in May 2023, and the team played with the same players.
After struggling in several competitions, such as the BGIS 2023 and the BGMS Season 2, the team brought in a new IGL, Jelly, for the current BMPS, however they were unable to put up a good performance.
Over the past four years, Ghatak has had success in both his playing and coaching careers. He recently disclosed that he will make an announcement in the coming days on his future step.
