The first mid-season upgrade for Call of Duty Warzone will be released following the incorporation of Modern Warfare 3 (MW3).
Activision may be bringing back some of the prequel’s survival mode equipment, such as the Weapon Case and Covert Exfil, in addition to adding a ton of new gameplay material for the battle royale. These innovations will undoubtedly cause a shift and enable players to adopt new playstyles.
Warzone is a strategic shooter game, and the community stands to gain from having more tools for winning matches. It is significant to note that the future update may be released without these items as the publisher or developers have not yet formally confirmed their inclusion.
DMZ Features to be brought in
In the DMZ mode of Modern Warfare 2, there was just one public event called the Weapon Case, which offered a variety of rewards. It could, however, easily make you or the team that secured it a target and was available to everyone in the lobby. This was mostly because every player could see the case’s location on the map thanks to its tracker.
This implies that anyone may attempt to steal your case in order to obtain the in-game prizes for themselves. Usually, the prizes contained various weapon blueprints and other cosmetics that might be used. Since only one scenario would spawn on the map, it is extremely exclusive.
The Covert Exfil gives you another way out of the battlefield. It may be a new way to win a match without being involved in too many gunfights with a secret exfil route. The developers will undoubtedly incorporate further complexities, such as a set of requirements that players must fulfill in order to board a private helicopter and terminate the lobby.
