Modern Warfare 3 has a new, time-limited game mode called Infectious Holiday. With a few changes, it’s a reimagined take on the classic game mode Infected.
All infected players will transform into Zombie Santa in this time-limited mode, who will hunt down the living. The remaining rules don’t change. A player will be randomly selected to get infected and obtain the Zombie Santa Skin at the start of each match.
Their mission is to spread their little weaponry to other gamers who are still alive. The game ends when every space in the lobby is taken over by Zombie Santas.
However, the contest will finish in favor of the living, and the infected side will lose, if they reign supreme and resist becoming infected until the very end.
Modern Warfare 3 Infectious Holiday Event
On December 19, 2023, at 10 a.m. PT, Modern Warfare 3 will welcome the Infectious Holiday with the CODMAS event.
However, this date and time may appear somewhat different to someone residing in a different location. The following is the estimated time of mode launch for each region:
- Pacific Time (PT): December 19, 2023, at 10 am
- Mountain Time (MT): December 19, 2023, at 11 am
- Central Time (CT): December 19, 2023, at 12 pm
- Eastern Time (ET): December 19, 2023, at 1 pm
- Brasília Time (BRT): December 19, 2023, at 3 pm
- Greenwich Mean Time (GMT):December 19, 2023, at 6 pm
- Central European Time (CET): December 19, 2023, at 7 pm
- Eastern European Time (EET):December 19, 2023, at 8 pm
- Moscow Standard Time (MSK):December 19, 2023, at 9 pm
- Indian Standard Time (IST): December 19, 2023, at 11:30 pm
- China Standard Time (CST):December 20, 2023, at 2 am
- Japan Standard Time (JST):December 20, 2023, at 3 am

Before the aforementioned timings, players will get a small update that will add the game mode and all of the CODMAS adjustments.
