PMGC 2023 Prize Pool

The $2 million overall prize pool for the Global Championship’s initial season in 2020 made it a very popular event in terms of viewership.

Over 3.8 million people watched the tournament’s top audience. Tencent upped the prize pool to $6 million for the 2021 season in response to this achievement. Nova Esports from China won both seasons.

The prize pool for the PMGC 2022 was, however, decreased by Tencent to $4 million. This time, the studio reduced the winner’s reward even further, to $3 million, for the competition in 2023.
