Peek-and-fire is a setting in PUBG Mobile that players can use to take their gunplay to the next level.
By default, this setting is usually turned out, but it is suggested to turn it on since it can make an imperative difference in your gameplay.
By enabling this option, players may lessen one side’s recoil by peeking. It also helps you to take down your enemy without exposing yourself fully.
To turn this option on, toggle the Peek & Fire option on in the ‘Basic’ part of the Settings screen before starting a game by tapping the settings symbol in the top-right corner of the screen.
The enabled controls are represented in-game by two distinct buttons, one for peeking left and the other for peeking right.
Here are a few tips to use this setting more effectively in PUBG Mobile:
1. Find cover
The whole point behind using the peek-and-fire setting in PUBG Mobile will be defeated if you are not behind cover.
Stand near the window or door of a building, or if you are out in the open, then behind a tree or other structure.
Ensure that you are fully covered and that when you peek, only your head shows to the enemy.
2. Use the eye button
Before you place your shot using peek-and-fire, use the eye button to get a good view of your surroundings and your enemy.
This will ensure that you do not waste time after peeking in PUBG Mobile to shoot your enemy to search for exactly where he is.
3. Place your shot quickly and go back
Remember that when you peek in PUBG Mobile, your head is exposed, giving your enemy an opportunity to land a headshot.
It is thus essential that once you peek and then place your shot, you press the peek button again immediately to come back to cover.
