PMWC 2024

In July of 2024, the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The $3 million prize pool for the first edition will be massive.

The worldwide tournament will see the selection of 28 teams from all around the world. The World Invitational, also known as PMWI, which was held in Riyadh in 2022 and 2023 for two seasons, is replaced by this tournament.

The PMWC is a component of the massive 2024 Esports World Cup, which will have a ton of games.

Tencent Games subsidiary Level Infinite has entered into a three-year relationship with the Saudi Arabia Esports World Cup Foundation. The 39 partnered teams from Southeast Asia, EMEA, and the Americas have also been revealed by PUBG Mobile.

Three stages will comprise the eight-day PMWC: Main Stage, Survival Stage, and Group Stage. Here is the comprehensive format information:

Group Stage

There will be 24 teams competing in this PUBG Mobile World Cup preliminary round. The top 12 teams advance straight to the Main Stage based on the overall points table. The worst 12 teams, however, advance to the next round.

Survival Stage

For the four spots in the Main Stage, a total of 16 teams will compete in this second round. For the Survival Stage, one team from each of the PMSL Americas, SEA, EMEA, and CSA will be chosen at random. The worst 12 teams from the Group Stage will square off against these four opponents.

The top four finishers in the overall standings will move on to the Main Stage when this phase ends, and the lowest 12 finishers will not be allowed to compete in PMWC 2024.
