With the Skyesports Championship 5.0: BGMI rapidly approaching, both new and seasoned teams will have a fantastic chance to showcase their abilities.
Registration is now available via the Skyesports Discord channel. Before going on to the further stages, all teams who have registered will first compete in the Qualifiers. In the next rounds, some famous squads will also be invited.
The main event will take place at Bangalore’s Koramangala Indoor Stadium from November 1–5, 2023.
In the meantime, there will be a large number of games in Championship 5.0, with a ₹2.12 crore total prize pool. Most of that total will go toward the BGMI competition.
Skyesports Championship 5.0
There will be four stages to the ultimate competition. In the upcoming days, the organizers will make public the program and timeline for the first phases.
Qualifiers
Teams can participate in the Qualifiers provided they register via the Skyesports Discord channel. In the end, the four top teams from this first round will advance to the next stage.
Quarter Finals
In this phase, the 20 invited teams will play the four teams from the Qualifiers. The top four competitors in each of the 24 rounds will move on to the decisive round before the Finals.
Semi Finals
Twenty more teams will be invited straight to this level by the organizers. There will be a total of 24 teams competing for the 12 spots in the Finale.
Grand Finals
The final round will take place at LAN in Bangalore from November 1–5, 2023. Blind, Team Soul, GodLike, and Big Brother Esports have all received straight invitations to this phase of the competition because of their results in past Skyesports events.
In the Skyesports Championship 5.0, sixteen teams will compete for cash prizes.
GodLike Esports was accepted to the Finale, since they were the winners of the Skyesports Championship 3.0, which took place from September 6–12, 2021.
The top two teams in the Skyesports Champions Series, which took place in June 2023, were Blind Esports and Team Soul.
In addition, in July of this year, Big Brother Esports emerged victorious in the Skyesports Skirmish Series Season 2.
