The BGMI 2.8 update is here and has brought with it a slew of exciting new features.
‘Zombie’s Edge’, a game mode with a zombie theme, has been added to Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI)’s latest 2.8 version.
The mode is currently accessible on the Erangel, Livik, and Miramar maps, and the update is free to download on Android and iOS.
The Aerolith Lab and its surroundings serve as the event’s focal point, teeming with countless ‘mutants’ to kill in addition to sporadic Berserker and Ripper varieties that will be more difficult to dispatch.
The former has a powerful build, and his right arm can quickly switch between a sword and an armoured fist. The Ripper, however, is lanky and quick to cover the distance between them and launch slash strikes.
Fans of Battlegrounds Mobile India are excited to try out the new features brought in with this update. Here are the top 5 features that you should look out for:
1. Zombies edge mode
After a long absence, zombies are back in BGMI, hoarding in and around the enigmatic location Aerolith Lab.
The danger posed by these concealed zombies to gamers is serious. The newly added ragdoll system, improved visuals, and physics modelling will make killing zombies more enjoyable than ever.
2. New gameplay elements
The BGMI 2.8 update has brought new PvE gameplay and several opponent kinds. The Character Switch Device, several gameplay devices, interactive items, construction and ornamental elements, map templates, and more are just a few of the editor enhancements.
3. Mutation Gauntlets
Mutation Gauntlets, which may be donned to greatly improve gameplay, are also included in BGMI 2.8 update.
They have a slam strike that essentially one-shots zombies and a Great Smash moveset. When it is used, the player springs into the air to choose a landing spot before slamming down and causing severe, AOE damage.
4. C5S13 Season
With each update, BGMI receives a new season and with the new season comes new rewards.
BGMI fans will be looking forward to the new C5S13 season.
5. Firearms updates
Several existing weapons including the Crossbow, ACE32, and Honey Badger will be getting updates with the BGMI 2.8 update.
