BGMI is a game that is loved by pro players and beginners alike. The game is undoubtedly beginner-friendly and advances with the player.

However, if you are looking to take your gameplay up a notch and not merely be a beginner at the game, there are certain mistakes that most beginners make that you must avoid.

Here are 5 common mistakes made by Battlegrounds Mobile India beginners that you should avoid.

1. Not keeping an eye on blue and red zone

Always keep in mind that the blue zone will rapidly lower your health in BGMI. Furthermore, each successive zone deals more damage than the previous one.

Also ensure that you keep out of the red zone, else it may lead to the end of your entire squad at once.

2. Not understanding the map

One of the most frequent and detrimental errors in PUBG Mobile is a lack of map knowledge. Players usually neglect to keep an eye on the map because they are too busy looting, shooting, and staying alive. This brings up a lot of problems.

Always keep an eye on the mini-map and try to gain awareness about each of the maps you play on.

3. Playing over aggressively

In BGMI, a lot of players make the error of playing too aggressively. Aggression may be advantageous, but it can also result in mistakes.

Rushing into battle without the right supplies or support might mean instant death, particularly when facing up against well-prepared foes.

Your ammunition, medical supplies, and armour may get depleted from frequent confrontations, leaving you unprepared for further battles.

It’s crucial to be able to blend assertiveness with prudence. Prioritise survival and make sensible fighting decisions, particularly as the game advances.

4. Not looting effectively

Another frequent problem in BGMI is the improper handling of weapons and equipment. Players typically carry unnecessary gear or don’t make the most use of their loadout.

Carrying too much might complicate your inventory and make it difficult to quickly locate what you need.

You can lose if you choose weapons that aren’t fit for your playstyle or the circumstances of the game at hand.

Failure to equip attachments may cause your weapon to function worse.

5. Not taking cover

Whenever you are playing BGMI, always remember to stay behind cover no matter where you are.

Ensure that you never run out in the open and if you have to, always run in a zig-zag motion.
