Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will travel to Kolkata for match number 19 of the IPL 2023, which will take place at the renowned Eden Gardens in Kolkata on April 14, 2023.
In recent years, Sunrisers Hyderabad has done well in the IPL. They have earned a spot in the playoffs each season from 2016 through 2020. SRH finished second in the IPL 2018 and won the IPL trophy in 2016. Yet they didn’t actually have a good season last year because they kept losing badly.
On the other side, KKR won the competition in 2012 and 2014, but they were unable to repeat their success in the years that followed. They did, however, advance to the IPL 2022 final, where CSK defeated them.
In the 61st IPl game in Pune, SRH and KKR last faced off against one another. Sam Billings (34) and Andre Russell (49*) helped KKR score 177/6 in 20 overs when they batted first. However, Abhishek Sharma (43) and Aiden Markram (32) were unable to chase down the 177-run mark, and SRH ultimately lost by 54 runs. Check complete details on KKR vs SRH head-to-head records.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
Sunrisers Hyderabad will enter the match fresh off of a crushing victory against Punjab Kings in their last match. In their first two games against Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants, SRH was thoroughly defeated; but, in their third game, they made a remarkable comeback. With two losses in three games, SRH is currently ranked ninth in the points standings. SRH would aim to keep up its winning streak.
Kolkata Knight Riders
The Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, will enter the match after some outstanding performances. The voyage of KKR thus far may be summed up by Rinku’s masterclass of five sixes, which came after they were defeated by PBKS by a margin of 7 runs (DLS method) and went on to impose a decisive victory over RCB by 81 runs in their second game.
KKR put up an all-around performance since every single person pitched in with important contributions when called upon. They would now want to keep up their winning streak.
