MI vs PBKS Head-to-Head Records

On Saturday, April 22, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, match 31 of the IPL 2023 will pit the Mumbai Indians (MI) against the Punjab Kings (PBKS).

In each of the previous eight iterations, PBKS failed to advance to the playoff round and twice finished last in the standings. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have had the greatest success in IPL history.

In the 22nd game of the previous season, Mayank Agarwal’s PBKS and Rohit Sharma’s MI met in PBKS. PBKS batted first, and their massive score of 198/5 in 20 overs was made possible by the tenacious fifties of Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan as well as a fast cameo from Jitesh Sharma.

Every MI batter got a chance to bat in response to 198, but none of them scored heavily. Dewald Brevis had the most runs with 49, but that wasn’t enough to get MI over the finish line; they fell short by 12 runs. Check complete details on MI vs PBKS head-to-head records.

Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians will enter the game having defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by a margin of 14 runs. They now hold the sixth spot with a net run rate (NRR) of -0.164. Tilak Varma, a young player, is a stand-out performer for MI, who has amassed 214 runs in five games with an average of 53.50 and a respectable strike rate of 158.51. MI would aim to keep up their winning streak.

Punjab Kings

Punjab Kings will enter the match having suffered a 24-run defeat to Royal Challengers Bangalore. PBKS presently holds the seventh spot in the IPL points standings with a net run rate (NRR) of -0.298 after winning three of their last six games.

Prabhsimran Singh and Jitesh Sharma both performed well in the previous match. When they play MI in their next match, PBKS will try to get back to winning ways.
