RR vs DC Head-to-Head Records

Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Delhi Capitals (DC), will square off in match number 11 of IPL 2023 on April 8 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

Rajasthan has competed against Capitals (formerly Daredevils) in every season of the biggest T20 competition worldwide, with the exception of two seasons when Royals were suspended from the IPL. The fact that both teams have won 13 games out of the 26 games they have played so far makes this rivalry and contest compelling.

So, don’t be shocked if the first game of the third IPL 2023 double-header is a close one. The fact that average number of innings played by these two teams against one another is always a close game. Check complete details on RR vs DC Head-to-Head Records In IPL.

Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals enter the contest in fourth place in the standings with two points and a respectable NRR of +1.675, having each won and lost their first two games. When they last competed here, RR was chasing a huge 198-run goal against PBKS and lost by a score of five runs.

The two powerful hitters that RR heavily relies on are Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson. Both of these batters, who each scored fifty runs in the first game, also had promising starts in the second game but were unable to turn them into significant innings. Jos Buttler may not be available for RR due to an injury he sustained when taking a catch in the previous game.

Delhi Capitals

The Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, haven’t had a good start to their season thus far, losing both of their games against the newcomers to the league. Mitchell Marsh, who was in fantastic shape prior to the IPL, utterly failed to deliver in the two matches.

The only encouraging aspects of DC’s international players are David Warner and Anrich Nortje. Axar Patel maintained his strong batting form in the previous game, scoring 22 off of 36 balls, but he strangely did not bowl a single over. DC would be looking for better results in both departments to get back on the winning track.
