India vs Australia 3rd ODI, Match Prediction, Playing 11, Match Details, Venue:

India will lock horns with Australia in the third and final ODI game of the three-match series. The former has already lost the series to the hosts. However, they will now take the field in order to grab a winning momentum before going ahead in the T20I series. And, Aussies will not want Team India to gain a much-needed momentum as it could prove to be fatal for them in the three-match T20I series that will begin from December 4 in Manuka Oval at Canberra.

India

The things have so far gone against Team India in Australia. Neither their bowlers nor batsmen have given convincing performance in the ongoing ODI series. There is a big void in the side in the absence of Rohit Sharma. And, Indian batsmen have failed to fill that gap. Now, the Men in Blue will have to come up with a different strategy against Australia in the third ODI.

Virat Kohli is expected to make some tough calls ahead of the game. He needs to pick some players from the bench as a replacement of his out of form bowlers like Navdeep Saini and Yuzvendra Chahal. The Aussie batsmen have played them very easily and they looked pale with the ball. Meanwhile, Team India will have to make some amendments in the batting line-up like using KL Rahul as an opener, Mayank Agarwal can be replaced with a bowling all-rounder. So, there is a lot left for Team India to work upon. And, if the Indian skipper managed to find a balanced combination then Men in Blue might manage their first win of the tour against hosts.

Australia

Australia looks pretty subtle in every department of the game. But, still, they will be forced to make a couple of changes as a replacement for injured Pat Cummins and David Warner. Otherwise, every player in the side has performed responsibly in the ongoing ODI series. Steve Smith is in exceptional form and he has made the mockery of the Indian pace attack that comprises of bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami.

In the absence of Warner, Aussie skipper Aaron Finch will have more responsibility to get his side off to a flying start. He is expected to be accompanied by D’arcy Short in the opening. Meanwhile, there are chances that Daniel Sams or Cameron Green will get a game to play as a replacement for Pat Cummins. Glenn Maxwell has found his batting form after woeful IPL 2020. And, he will play a key role with the ball as an all-rounder in the next game.

AUS Playing 11:

Wicket-keeper: Alex Carey

Batsmen: D’arcy Short, Aaron Finch, Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne

All-rounders: Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell

Bowlers: Pat Cummins/Daniel Sams/Cameron Green, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Adam Zampa

India vs Australia 3rd ODI, Match Prediction, Who Will Win The Match

Team India has lots of 5 consecutive ODIs and the odds are against them at the moment. On the other hand, Australia looks pretty much next to unstoppable with every player there is performing at best. So, there are very less chances that Men in Blue will come out as winners. However, it is on records that Virat Kohli always rescues his side from crucial positions and he has shown a glimpse of his good form with the bat. Also, he is a world-class skipper, who will try to come up with a strategy to outclass Australia. This is the reason we back Team India to win 3rd ODI.
