The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) scripted a fabulous win at the Ekana Sports City in Stadium as their bowlers spun a web and bamboozled their opposition batters in this game. Batting first, LSG posted a par-total of 163 runs and it was Gujarat who were on top after the end of the 1st innings.
The 2nd innings was of two halves as Gujarat initially got off to a good start but it withered away as the Lucknow bowlers spun a literal web in their own den. Even the pacers of the home side performed well and despite the side strain of Mayank Yadav that effectively ruled him out of the game after just 1 over of his bowling, Lucknow didn’t look disoriented.
