Indian Premier League is all set to begin from April 9 and cricket fans are eagerly waiting for the tournament to begin. Moreover, they will get to watch former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni, back on the field, who last took the bat in his hands back in 2020 IPL. And, CSK skipper has already hit the nets and looks fresh to roar in the upcoming season. Recently, CSK shared a clip in which the former Indian cricketer was seen smashing the bowlers all across the park.
MS Dhoni-led CSK to three IPL titles in the years 2010, 2011, and 2018. He is one of the most successful players in IPL and Indian cricket history. He bid adieu to international cricket on August 15, 2020, and it was one of the most disheartening days for every cricket fan. However, now MS Dhoni will be once again seen going for the cleaners against the bowlers.
MS Dhoni Looks Back In His Grooves
Dhoni is known for his discipline towards the game and he began preparing for the tournament more than a month ago. He has been sweating out hard in the nets in order to get back into his grooves. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings skipper has not played a single game in professional cricket since IPL 2020. But, it looks like the time has left any big impact on Dhoni’s game.
The former player was seen smashing CSK bowlers for sixes and boundaries with utmost ease. He looked raw and young like old MS Dhoni.
IPL is all set to begin from April 9 with the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. And, CSK will open their account in the tournament on April 10 with the match against Delhi Capitals.
