One of the most fierce IPL Rivalries, KKR vs RCB has got it all. The two teams have been contesting in the tournament since the first edition of the Indian Premier League. The rivalry started in fashion as KKR hosted RCB in the first-ever game of the IPL. McCullum played one of the best knocks in the history of T20 cricket. He scored 158 runs in explosive fashion. RCB looked quite miserable that season as they finished at 7th position.
KKR have two titles to their name while RCB is still hunting for their first-ever IPL trophy. The rivalry took a new road when the KKR flop Chris Gayle joined RCB to emerge as a beast of a player. The Windies power-hitter was the most feared batsman for many seasons from 2011 onwards. He has played a lot of memorable knocks for RCB, at times, coming back to haunt the Kolkata side.

The rivalry took an ugly turn when the captains and biggest names of teams, Gambhir and Kohli had a heated moment during IPL 2013.
Virat Kohli is the leading run-scorer in the rivalry with 674 runs. He has maintained an average of 36.47 runs per game in 22 innings. Sunil Narine of KKR is the leading wicket-taker with 16 dismissals in 14 games. RCB will be hoping to finally win the trophy while KKR will go looking for their third title.
