Pakistan is all set to series against Zimbabwe and South Africa for playing in the upcoming days. And, ahead of such an important tour reports emerged that selector Mohammad Wasim and Pakistan skipper Babar Azam were not on the same page while picking up the squads. And, there are rumors that everything between the two individuals is not right at the moment. But, the former player has cleared the air of rift and said that everything is fine between him and Babar Azam.

Babar Azam was appointed as Pakistan skipper with the majority in PCB. But the situation is not very good between the skipper and the selection committee. In an interview, Mohammad Wasim said that everything is fine between him and Babar Azam. He also added that it was not reported in the right way. As per him, he had long meetings with Babar Azam and Misbah ul Haq for about three days before coming out with the best Pakistan squad possible.

“It wasn’t how it was reported. We followed the procedures and we had meetings. I was in Lahore for 3 days and I had several, long meetings with Babar and Misbah and we came up with the squad,” he told PakPassion.

“Obviously, there are discussions and debates but there were no disagreements over 10 or 11 players as I read. Everything is fine between us.”
