India vs Sri Lanka T20I

Three T20I matches and as many ODIs between Team India and Sri Lanka are slated to begin on January 3, 2023. It is thought that since the battle will be hosted by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), ticket fees will probably go up.

The first Twenty20 International between India and Sri Lanka will take place at the Wankhede Stadium on January 3, and the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is considering raising ticket rates by 10 to 15%. On Friday, December 9, the MCA’s Apex Council reportedly decided to adopt the increase in ticket prices.

The price increase is the result of rising expenses and budgets associated with staging an international T20 match.

The extended home season for the Men in Blue will officially begin with the first T20I between their team and the visiting Sri Lankan team at the Wankhede Stadium. Before the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League, they are set to play four Tests, nine ODIs, and six Twenty20 Internationals between January and March (IPL).

“With costs having gone up, the budget for organizing a T20I has increased since then, so we felt a need to increase the ticket prices for the public slightly. The (subsidized) ticket prices for the MCA’s clubs and donors (7,000) will remain the same,” claimed one of the sources.

India will play Sri Lanka early in January

The recent ODI series against Bangladesh’s neighbors was lost by the team led by Rohit Sharma. The Men in Blue have lost 2 matches of their most recent bilateral series, adding to their list of 50-over disasters.

India will be preparing for favorable results as the team prepares to meet the Bangla Tigers in a two-match Test series. The ICC World Test Championship is determined by the red-ball series, and the series will establish the mood for the championship match. After the series is through, India will meet the Lankan Lions early in 2023 January in what promises to be a thrilling match between two powerhouses.
