Australia is currently playing against Pakistan in the 2nd Test at National Stadium in Karachi.  Both the teams have been giving a tough fight to each other in order to grab a win. Pat Cummins, the Aussie skipper hogged the spotlight for hammering the pitch with the hammer on Day-4 of the game. And, the clip of the same instance got viral on social media like a fire in the forest.

The pitch in the ongoing Test series between Pakistan and Australia has been heavily criticized. In the previous game, the Aussie cricketers even added more fuel to it stating that it was not an up-to-the-mark wicket for a red-ball game. Now, in the ongoing 2nd Test, Pat Cummins, the Australian skipper had to come up using the hammer in order to make an evenly balanced track for the bowlers.

The instance happened in the 53rd over of the game when Cameron Green was bowling. During that over, Pat Cummins stepped in with the hammer to fix the uneven part of the bowler’s landing area. Very soon Pakistan Cricket took to their official Twitter handle and shared a post that read,” So @patcummins30 is Thor ?”.

Pakistan Cricket also attached the clip of Pat Cummins hammering the track with the help of a wooden hammer.

Batting first Australia managed a mammoth total of 556 runs in the 1st inning. But, the hosts failed in coming up with a good show and managed only 148 runs in the 1st innings. Coming to the second innings, Australia declared innings on a score of 97 runs. Now, the hosts are currently playing at a score of 228 runs at a loss of two wickets. Now, they require 278 runs to win the game on the final day of the game.
