The return of senior men’s domestic First Class cricket in India occurs with the Ranji Trophy in 2022–2023. The 88th iteration of the famous competition will feature 38 teams this year and resume its regular format after a two-year sabbatical.
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the competition was postponed in 2020–2021 and performed in a modified format in 2021–2022. The Ranji Trophy 2022–23 will feature 135 games starting on December 13, 2022, and running until February 20, 2023.
