After coming in at 31/3, Sanju Samson leads Kerala’s comeback with a 53-ball 50 on his IPL home field. Kerala faced Rajasthan and scored 110/3 in 30 overs.

At lunch on day two of the Ranji Trophy Elite Group C match here on Wednesday, Kerala had a rocky start to their comeback against Rajasthan’s first innings total of 337.

Rohan Kunnummal, who was injured and was unable to make the playing eleven, was greatly missed by Kerala. P Rahul (10) of the opening team was the first out, then Shoun Roger was out for a duck. Kerala dropped to 31/3 as Rohan Prem left for 18.

The hosts were bowled out for 337 after Rajasthan, who had began on 310/5, lost their final five wickets for just 27 runs. The best bowler for Kerala was Jalaj Saxena, who got a 3/78. Sijomon Joseph, Fanoos F, and M D Nidheesh each took one scalp, while Basil Thampi and Basil Thampi each took two.
