Virender Sehwag is known for his out-of-the-box social media activity and he too often trends on micro-blogging websites due to the same. However, this time his post after Mumbai Indians suffered defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders hasn’t gone down well with the fans due to which he has to face their heat.
KKR won the toss and elected to field first in the match. While batting, MI managed a decent score of 161 runs for a loss of 4 wickets. Suryakuamar Yadav scored fifty and Tilak Varma also managed 38 quick runs with his willow. Interestingly Kolkata Knight Riders chased down the target with four overs to spare in their kitty.

Cummins also got Man of the match for playing such a ferocious knock against Mumbai Indians. He took the game out of MI’s jaw and helped his side in winning the thriller. During the game, after the departure of Andre Russell, KKR was set on the back foot. But, Cummins’s storm was enough to help KKR in grabbing two important points by winning the game.
Post-match, Virender Sehwag took to his official Twitter handle and shared a post that read,”oonh se nivala cheen liya ,, sorry vada pav cheen liya. Pat Cummins, one of the most insane display of clean hitting, 15 ball 56 … Jeera Batti.”
Mumbai Indians fans didn’t like the post that Sehwag did after MI defeat. They thought that Sehwag was indirectly quoting Rohit Sharma as “Vada Paao”.
The netizens slammed the former Indian opener for his post. Later on, Sehwag cleared the fact that he was not commenting on Rohit Sharma but a normal post mentioning a dish that is very likable in Mumbai, “The Vada Pav reference is for Mumbai, a city which thrives on Vada Pav. Rohit fans thanda lo, I am a bigger fan of his batting much more than most of you guys,”
