Haris Rauf, the star Pakistan pacer gave air to an unwanted controversy in a PSL game by slapping his own Lahore Qalandar’s teammate Mohammad Haris. The pacer was recorded spotted doing the same after taking his first wicket of the game against Peshawar Zalmi.

Peshawar Zalmi won the toss in the final league stage game and elected to bat first. The former PSL winner didn’t get off to a good start in the match. They lost their first wicket in the second over of the game.

Haris Rauf bowled a perfect bouncer on the 4th delivery of the 2nd over of the match against Mohammad Haris. The latter tried hitting a six in the third man region. But, he didn’t get his timing right and ended up giving an easy catch to Fawad Ahmed. It could have been Haris’s second wicket in the over if only Qalandar player Ghulam would have not dropped Hazratullah Zazai’s catch.

Haris Rauf might have got agitated with Ghulam due to which the former ended up slapping the fielder. The clip of that instance soon got viral on social media and Rauf received the heat of the cricket fans from every nook and corner on the microblogging website.

Coming onto the match, Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi played one of the most enthralling games in the history of PSL. Both the teams finished on the same score and ended up in a tie. In the end, finally, a tie-breaking super-over was used to separate the teams in the final affair of the PSL 2021 season league stage.
