Harshal Patel’s Cricket Career
Domestic career: Harshal Patel made his debut with Gujarat in 2009. He played for the state until 2011 before moving out as he was not getting enough chances.
Patel joined Haryana in 2011 and has been part of their setup ever since. With Haryana, he has played in all three formats of the game making First-Class and List-A appearances. Though he is mainly a bowler, his highest First-Class score is 83.
Harshal Patel has also taken 226 wickets in First-class cricket and 80 wickets in List-A competitions as of March 2022.
Indian Premier League: Owing to his prowess in domestic cricket, Harshal Patel was picked up by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2011. He played 36 matches over five seasons but was not able to lead the team to the title. Following this, the bowler was released before the auction.
