England kept their winning streak in Sri Lanka alive as they managed two-consecutive victories in the recently concluded Test series. The final affair between England and Sri Lanka was full of ups and downs. After winning the toss, hosts elected to bat first and posted a mammoth total of 381 runs. In return, visitors managed only 344 runs before getting dismissed.

They shared a total of 8 wickets in the 3rd innings of the match.

In the end, England got a target of 164 runs to chase and it looked like a cakewalk. And, the visitors chased the target with 6 wickets in their hands. Meanwhile, an instance happened on the field that left everyone laughing on social media.

After the dismissal of Dom Bess and Zak Crawley, Jonny Bairstow took the charge in his hands. He looked quite in touch and a right-handed batsman was smashing the bowlers all across the park. He went for a sweep against Ramesh Mendis and the ball easily crossed the boundary line and landed into a paint bucket. And, the ball was left of no use due to which the on-field umpire had to change the red-cherry for the left part of the game.
