Big Bash League witnessed some scintillating performance from Brisbane Heat skipper Chris Lynn and Jack Wildermuth. Heats have managed a mammoth total of 178 runs on the scoreboard. And, Sydney Thunder bowlers had a tough outing in BBL 2020-21 throughout the game.

Brisbane Heat skipper Chris Lynn won the toss and invited Sydney Thunder to field first. The Thunder skipper Callum Ferguson had expected a good performance from his bowlers. Meanwhile, Chris Lynn, who looked a bit out of touch in the previous game, was at fire against Thunder. He smashed a brilliant boundary on his 2nd delivery to open his account in the game. He unleashed some unique strokes from his armory and made the mockery of Thunder bowlers. He smashed his 18th fifty of his BBL career. Also, he achieved a milestone of scoring 50 sixes in the exciting tournament history as an individual player.

He was swiftly approaching towards his hundred but Chris Green gave a major setback to Heat by dismissing their skipper in the penultimate over of the game. Later on, Jack Wildermuth hogged the spotlight with his short cameo. He turned the tables for his team with the bat and scored 31 runs off 11 balls studded with big sixes. This helped Brisbane Heat in posting a target of 178 runs for a loss of 6 wickets in stipulated 20 overs.

Jonathan Cook and Daniel Sams grabbed two wickets each in the game. And, they finished as the most successful bowler for their side.
