The batsman failed to optimize his good start into a big knock and was dismissed in the 4th over of the innings. And, it was an alarming call for the Thunder bowlers. Chris Lynn, one of the most dangerous batsmen looked came out to bat at number 3. He was criticized for a slow knock in the previous game. But, he managed a good show against Thunders. Chris Lynn Smashes A Record Fifty For Brisbane Heat

From the other batting end, Max Bryant and Dan Lawrence played knocks in 20’s. But the star of the night for Brisbane Heat was their skipper Chris Lynn. He was chipping the bowlers for six and boundaries quite easily. Meanwhile, the Aussie international also achieved a big milestone by smashing his 50th six in BBL.

Lynn went against Thunder spinner T Sangha in the 13th over of the inning. He smashed two consecutive sixes and a boundary and managed 16 runs. In the same over, he also managed his brilliant half-century in BBL 2020-21. It was his 18th fifty of his BBL career. The Heat skipper looked quite normal after a long time. However, the highlight stroke of his inning was against Aussie pacer Daniel Sams. He came on the front foot and smashed a monstrous six. It was a typical swipe across the line to send it very deep over deep square leg.
