The 16th IPL season is currently under full preparation. On December 23 in Kochi, there will be a mini-auction for the IPL 2023. Prior to the auction, BCCI has requested that each franchise submit a list of players who have been retained and released by November 15.
As per the IPL trading window 2023 updates, the West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo parts ways with CSK along with big players like Adam Milne, Hari Nishaanth, and Chris Jordan.
In addition to missing Suresh Raina’s service, the change in captaincy shook the camp. Just before the competition began, MS Dhoni announced his resignation as captain, and CSK chose Jadeja as his replacement.
The CSK won their first game of the tournament under Jadeja’s captaincy against RCB in their sixth game, forcing Jadeja to hand over the captaincy to MS Dhoni. Out of the 14 games they played in the IPL 2022 season, Chennai Super Kings only succeeded in winning four of them.
