The MI Cape Town skipper Rashid Khan was smashed for 28 runs in the 16th over of the game and Marco Jansen’s pyrotechnics powered the Sunrisers Eastern Cape to a thrilling 2-wicket victory against table-toppers MI Cape Town.
Jansen eventually scored 66 runs off just 27 balls and his blistering match-winning knock was packed with 3 fours and 7 sixes. Rashid Khan ended up conceding 53 runs in his 4 overs and managed to scalp only 1 wicket.
In the 1st innings, Marco Jansen had failed to take a single wicket in his quota of 4 overs. However, he had a good economy of 7.2.
