With just 5-6 games left for each team in the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 and 2 teams have already qualified for the playoffs, we have entered the last window of the league stage of ISL 2022-23.
Match week of 16 witnessed some robust action from all teams and exciting action was at its peak. East Bengal FC fought valiantly but would be disappointed to be on the losing side against Hyderabad FC. The Nizams also became the 2nd team to qualify for the ISL 2022-23 playoffs. FC Goa produced a clinical performance to hand Kerala Blasters their second defeat on the trot.
Chennaiyin FC played out yet another draw as they played a goalless game against ATK Mohun Bagan. Bengaluru FC steamrolled past Jamshedpur FC 3-0 to win their 3rd game on the bounce. Des Buckingham’s Mumbai City FC continued their dominant form as they blew aside NorthEast United FC 4-0 at the Mumbai Football Arena. They are only the only team in ISL 2022-23 to remain unbeaten so far.
