One of the most well-known Minecraft servers, Mineplex, just started operating once again. There are whole businesses dedicated to provide the greatest public servers so that millions of players may enjoy the sandbox game.
One of the most well-liked of them all, Mineplex, has servers since 2013. Its servers are back up after a brief break.
Mineplex unexpectedly shut down on May 12, 2023, despite being one of the game’s most well-known and enduring servers.
The servers went down without warning and were also taken off of the featured servers list for Bedrock Edition.
After some time, one of Mineplex’s administrators published a formal notification on their main server regarding servers permanently shutting down.
The cause of the server’s deactivation wasn’t recognized until a few weeks ago. Sam Dawahare, a former server administrator, said on his Twitter profile shortly after the Mineplex’s Minecraft servers went down that he had fully owned the business.
The return of Mineplex
Sam’s message was republished on Mineplex’s official Twitter account. Following this, the public server’s official website once again went silent, but there was a “coming soon” message that made it plain that the server’s creators were working on a new project.
A few months after the old Mineplex servers unexpectedly went down, a strange message announcing “Project Ashes,” which will be published on September 15, was put on the official Twitter page of the server providers.
The day before September 15, another video clip was made showcasing Mineplex’s new branding, which included a new logo with a phoenix that suited the name Project Ashes.
Following the formal announcement, Sam Dawahare created a lengthy video describing a new Mineplex Studio, which was a novel approach to create and distribute Minecraft games.
In a subsequent video, he detailed how the server would be free to use once it is published as well as the restoration of the original Mineplex minigames.
Sam promised that additional information regarding Mineplex’s return will be made public as time passed.
Naturally, this is fantastic news for the enormous player population of Minecraft, since one of the most well-liked public servers is returning to the game with free access and classic games.
