IND vs NZ Betmaster Match Prediction, 2nd T20I, 19th November 2021

India

India will be happy to start off the series with a comprehensive win but panic in back-end overs in the first match might be a small area of concern for India. Rohit Sharma won the toss and bowlers started on a positive note with Bhuvneshwar Kumar picking wicket on his 1st ball to Daryl Mitchell but things didn’t go according to plan after that breakthrough.

Martin Guptill and Mark Chapman didn’t give an inch to India’s spinners and looked super composed until Ashwin’s dual strikes derailed Kiwi’s innings. Indian bowlers pulled back things in final overs but need to improve in the 2nd match if they want to seal off the series in Ranchi. Mohammed Siraj is likely to miss this match and the likes of Harshal Patel or Avesh Khan might get a chance.

New Zealand

New Zealand might not be that disappointed with their performances but certainly looking back, they could have scored more while batting first. They were in the driver seat till the 13th over with Mark Chapman and Martin Guptill set on the crease but Glenn and Tim Seifert again failed to give New Zealand a blistering finish.

New Zealand was already without Davon Convey and Kane Williamson but they decided to rest more key players like Ish Sodhi and Jimmy Neesham which raised everyone’s eyebrows. They are likely to slot back into the playing XI and their comeback could make a difference in this encounter.

Popular Betting Odds For IND vs NZ, 2nd T20I, Betmaster Match Prediction, Cricket Betting Tips

Top Batsman from India – KL Rahul (2.8 odds)

KL Rahul got out cheaply in the first game but will be raring to go in this 2nd match of the series. Rahul is coming off some exciting recent performances which included a record 18 balls fifty at the T20 World Cup. He is one of the World’s best T20 openers and his resurgence at top order has kept the likes of Shikhar Dhawan out of the reckoning for this spot. Rahul is a complete power-packed player and India needs him firing at top of the order to seal the series in Ranchi. KL Rahul is in great form and can give you good returns from this match.

Top Batsman from New Zealand – Mark Chapman (5.0 odds)

Mark Chapman impressed everyone with his composed innings of 63 runs in the first match of the series. New Zealand was in trouble after losing Daryl Mitchell in the very first over and the ball was doing a bit in the initial overs but Mark Chapman stood tall and absorbed that intriguing passage of play. Most importantly his gameplay against spinners was very confident and would be really important on the expected slowish pitch of Ranchi. Mark Chapman can again give you good returns and is our pick for best batsman from New Zealand.

Top Bowler from India – Axar Patel (4.7 odds)

Axar Patel made a comeback into the Indian T20 team and was decent in the first match. He was as always accurate with his lines and didn’t give away easy runs to kiwi batters in the middle overs. He finished the match wicketless but was really impressive at times. Axar is a lethal bowler in these conditions and is identical to how Ravindra Jadeja operates. Ranchi might be on a slowish side and Axar could be a really serious threatening bowler under such scenarios. He is our pick for best bowler from India.

Top Bowler from New Zealand– Tim Southee (4.0 odds)

Tim Southee is leading his side in absence of Kane Williamson and he was one of the main reasons why the match went down to the wire. Southee is an underrated bowler and how he uses his experience to perfection is delightful to watch. He doesn’t have express pace like Lockie Ferguson or left arm angle like Trent Boult but he banks on his smartness to deceive batsmen. He is going to be a serious threat with the new ball to Rohit and Rahul which could be a really interesting battle to see. Tim Southee is our pick for best bowler from New Zealand.
