The Pakistan Super League, PSL 2023 final, which will take place in Lahore on Saturday, will feature an exciting matchup between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars.
The PSL 2023 final will take place at Lahore’s Gadaffi Stadium.
The game will be an opportunity for Multan Sultans to get revenge for their loss from the previous year.
It was originally scheduled to take place on Sunday but was postponed by 24 hours due to a high alert for inclement weather.
On March 15, Multan Sultans defeated Lahore Qalandars by 84 runs in the Qualifier on Wednesday, advancing them to the PSL 2023 final.
Sheldon Cottrell’s 3-wicket haul dismissed Qalanadrs for just 76 after Kieron Pollard’s fifty helped Sultans reach 160/5.
Qalandars finished in the top two of the PSL points table, giving them a second opportunity to get to the final, and they made the most of it.
The 2022 champions maintained their chances of defending their championship after defeating Peshawar Zalmi in Elimination 2.
Peshawar Zalmi reached 171 thanks to Mohammad Harris’ 85-run innings, while Qalandars finished the chase with 4 wickets remaining thanks to Mirza Baig’s fifty.
