    Haris Rauf On Babar Azam

Haris Rauf, a Pakistani speedster currently playing for Lahore Qalandars in the ongoing eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2023), has expressed his intention to oust Babar Azam and Virat Kohli.

Haris Rauf was seen interacting with Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar in a video that Qalandars posted on social media during a practice session. During the conversation, Rauf stated that he would do anything to get rid of the two great batters.

“No matter what happens, I want to dismiss you and Virat Kohli,” he said.

Rauf has definitely dismissed him on a few occasions in the nets, the Pakistani skipper replied. But in response, the quick bowler said he wanted to get his wicket in a game.

Incidentally, Rauf and Kohli competed against one another during the T20 World Cup in Australia the previous year. The top batsman defeated the bowler in a game-changing showdown by smashing two back-to-back sixes to turn the tide in India’s favour.

Haris Rauf and Babar Azam were against each other

In the 15th match of PSL 2023, Lahore Qalandars played Peshawar Zalmi at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, giving Haris Rauf the chance to oust Babar Azam. However, Shaheen Afridi bowled Babar with only 7 runs.

Lahore is presently ranked third in the points table with three victories out of three games. On the other hand, Peshawar is now at the bottom place after five games with two victories and three losses.

Babar Azam has had remarkable results with the bat thus far, scoring 178 runs at a strike rate of 130.88 in five games. He has two half-centuries to his credit and has scored the most runs for his team this year.

Haris Rauf’s performances have been a bit lacklustre. In the competition, he has taken just three wickets at a 10.45 economy rate.

Virat Kohli turned up the heat against Rauf

During the IND vs PAK T20 world cup clash, Kohli turned up the heat and smacked two consecutive sixes off the final two balls. Haris Rauf had made a great start, only allowing three runs off the first overs.

All fans and previous cricket players were in awe of his first six. With a length delivery, Kohli paced in his crease before smashing the ball past the long-on boundary and over the bowler’s head for a maximum.
