India is slowly catching up with the rest of the world in terms of the importance given to eSports. A plethora of tournaments and events are being conducted for eSports. Now, the announcement has been made for one of the biggest eSports events in the country.
The eagerly anticipated India Gaming Show (IGS), now in its fourth year, will take place in New Delhi, India. The Government of India is backing the India Gaming Show 2023, a Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) project.
This event is to give a venue specifically for showcasing gaming and animation. The India Gaming Show 2023 offers a fun, fascinating session with exhibitions, international conferences, esports activities, and cosplay displays, among other things.
Indian Gaming Show 2023 Theme
This year’s theme is “Defining New Frontiers – The Future of Gaming in India.” The Indian Gaming Show will be held from February 16 to February 18 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

Riot Games in India
On February 13, Riot Games made the announcement that it would make its debut at the India Gaming Show 2023 in New Delhi.
They also stated that they will be organizing exciting on-site events and activities at the venue, demonstrating Riot Games’ dedication to the flourishing gaming culture in India.
Riot Games will display a picture arena with the game’s most iconic map locations and Harbor’s gems to provide visitors with an immersive journey inside the Valorant realm.
Fans may also take part in a NERF Shooting Zone and a live game of “Defuse the Spike” where they can play as their favorite agents. Riot Games also stated that the top players will get a variety of rewards.
Other events at the Indian Gaming Show
The Windows 11 Skyesports Grand Slam Season 3 will feature elite creators and teams vying for triumph on February 16 and 17 at the Pragati Maidan at the India Gaming Show. The first all-female Valorant LAN in India will take place at this tournament.
In a press release, Jet Skyesports stated that the LAN would include competitive esports competition as well as special activations with Microsoft and AMD as well as gifts to honor all of the fans who attend the Pragati Maidan event. The Windows 11 Skyesports Grand Slam Season 3 will be open to all participants for free.
