The final list of nominees for the inaugural “Mobies” awards event, scheduled to take place on July 14 in Los Angeles, has been announced by the Mobile Gaming Awards.

The Esports Awards team and Matt “MobileMatt” Rutledge, the founder and CEO of Web3 gaming start-up BAYZ, collaborated to create this event, which seeks to highlight the rapidly developing field of accessible mobile esports and gaming.

The two games contending as nominees for the most categories – Mobile Esports Tournament of the Year, Competitive Game of the Year, and Mobile Game of the Year are PUBG Mobile and Brawl Stars.

How to vote for your favourites in the MOBIES Awards

Fans can cast their individual votes for winners on the official MOBIES website once every 24 hours till June 30. 

On July 14, the panel will present the Breakthrough Game of the Year award, which will be announced live on stage. 

Both ESTV Esports TV and GINX TV, who join the Mobies as official broadcast partners, will stream the programme live.

Rutledge spoke more about the event and stated, “I am absolutely thrilled to unveil the talented individuals and organizations nominated for their excellence in the mobile industry.”

“It’s a genuine pleasure to provide a platform to foster recognition, celebration, and growth for this fast-growing industry. I’m looking forward to welcoming them all to Los Angeles this July,” he added.
