Call of Duty x Walking Dead

Recent sources suggest that Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead may soon be joining Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as an Operator.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has garnered positive reviews from players worldwide, even if the single-player campaign has been criticized. In fact, players have been known to spend more time in Modern Warfare 3 than they have in the previous three reboot titles.

Activision frequently offers crossovers featuring characters from several series to keep gamers interested in the newest release and the free-to-play battle royale Warzone.

Players were able to claim an in-game weapon that was compatible with both Call of Duty: Warzone and Diablo 4 during the most recent Halloween event.

Activision appears to be getting ready to host the upcoming franchise in the legendary series.

Call of Duty x The Walking Dead

Regular Call of Duty data miner ModenasHD revealed on Twitter that Modern Warfare 3’s code contains allusions to Rick Grimes and Michonne from The Walking Dead.

The characters will probably be accessible as operators in early 2024 to connect into The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live TV series, even though there is no official release date yet.

It has already been reported that there would be a Call of Duty crossover, however confirmation of the details is still pending.

Fans learned earlier in the year that Season 5 of the shooter will have a cameo by another comic book character, Spawn.

Given that Spawn was introduced to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzones as an operator in September 2023, it appears that this leak was genuine.

The announcement of the possible crossover coincides with the underwhelming reception that both franchise’s games have gotten.

Despite receiving conflicting reviews upon release, Modern Warfare 3 has avoided major setbacks when compared to the most recent Walking Dead release.

The Walking Dead: Destinies has been criticized by players on social media for nearly every element of the game, including hurried storytelling and poor visuals.

Fans are already enjoying Modern Warfare 3’s most recent zombie mode, and a Walking Dead spin-off is scheduled to launch in February 2024, so a crossover between the two franchises seems plausible.

Though fans won’t have to wait long for the formal announcement, it is unclear if Activision will include Rick and Michonne in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The TV series is scheduled to premiere in the coming months.
