Only a few days after the end of The Final Showdown BGMI event, Upthrust Esports has announced another Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament. There will be 24 teams competing in the new competition called The Patriot Cup, which will take place over the course of eight days.
In addition, there is an INR 8 Lakh prize pool for the competition, as well as cash and unique prizes for both individual and team achievements.
512 teams competed in the open qualifications hosted by Upthrust Esports for The Patriot Cup BGMI tournament, with the best 5 teams moving on to the Semi Finals. There are 24 teams in the Semi Finals, split into 3 groups of 8.
In the Semi Finals, each team will play four matches over the course of four days, with six matches played each day. The competition is scheduled for January 23, 2024, to January 31, 2024.

The Upthrust Esports The Patriot Cup BGMI tournament will take place in the following schedule:
- Match 1 – Erangel (A vs B).
- Match 2 – Miramar (A vs C).
- Match 3 – Erangel (B vs C).
- Match 4 – Miramar (A vs B).
- Match 5 – Erangel (A vs C).
- Match 6 – Miramar (B vs C).
Points System
According to information released by Upthrust Esports, the teams will receive points based on the Players Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile Esports point system. Instead of receiving 15, the team that wins the chicken meal will now earn 10 points, and the number of points will continue to drop for those who finish lower.
An INR 8 Lakh prize pool is available for this event. Prize money will be given to the top 8 teams, with INR 2.5 lakhs going to the victor.
Additionally, there will be cash prizes for standout performances in the categories of Most Valuable Player (MVP), Dominating Player, and Most Chicken Dinners.
