“Beh*****d,

Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians match was full of emotions and it was certainly not for faint-hearted people. It recorded two Super-Over Rounds and was full of twist-turns. However, in the end, KXIP won the game after Mayank Agarwal hammered Trent Boult for a boundary on the 4th delivery of the 2nd tie-breaking over. But one thing that hogged the limelight was Rohit Sharma using cuss word during the game.

Mumbai Indians elected to bat and managed a score of 176 runs in stipulated 20 overs. Rohit Sharma once again failed to score big for his side. Quinton de Kock scored his 4th fifty of the tournament followed by Kieron Pollard’s swashbuckling knock of 34 runs off 12 balls. Nathan Coulter Nile, who was playing his first game for MI, also played a small cameo that helped MI in posting a respectable total on the scoreboard.

Coming onto the chase, KXIP once again got off the mark with a good start. KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal stitched an amazing partnership of 33 runs in less than 4 overs. The latter was soon dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah. Chris Gayle also contributed well and managed 24 runs with his willow. Nicholas Pooran, who came out to bat at number 4 gave a big momentum to his side by scoring 24 runs off 12 balls only. However, like Gayle, he also failed to prolong his stay on the wicket.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul was holding one batting end and smashing the bowlers across the park. And, Deepak Hooda well supported his skipper by rotating the strike with the help of singles. The game was well in the reach of Kings. But, Jasprit Bumrah brought his side back in the game and dismissed the KXIP skipper. It was a big blow for the Mohali-based franchise.

Deepak Hooda and Chris Jordan played some good cricket that brought the equation down to 2 runs off 1 ball. Trent Boult bowled a decent full-length delivery and Jordan played it well. Both the batsmen ran for a double. But a brilliant throw by Kieron Pollard run Jordan out.

MI skipper Rohit Sharma was pretty much happy that his side pulled off a brilliant performance with the match going into the Super-Over. But, when the third umpire adjudged Jordan out then the Indian opener was spotted using cuss words in emotions. The clip of the same gone viral on social media in which Rohit can be spotted saying “Beh*****d”.
