Delhi Capitals attracted an unwanted controversy during the match against Rajasthan Royals. Now, they will be looking to move on from the setback of the previous game and will be looking to take on KKR and win the match in order to grab a couple of important points.

Mistakenly, the pacer bowled a ball above the base to Powell. In the camera, it was pretty much evident that was a no-ball. But, the on-field umpire didn’t give it a no-ball and everyone in DC’s dugout was shocked to see such umpiring.

Later on, DC skipper Rishabh Pant even asked the batting pair to leave the field. But, that didn’t happen and the Capitals ended up losing the game.

DC’s head coach Ricky Ponting, who was under quarantine followed the game on the television. And, he accepted the fact that he broke a few water bottles as well as remote controls in frustration.

“It was frustrating. I think I broke three or four remote controls and a few bottles of water might have got thrown into the walls and things like that (laughs). When you’re on the sidelines, being a coach and you can’t control what’s happening out in the middle, that’s hard enough, but when you’re not actually at the ground, it can get a little more frustrating.”

Post-match, the match referee took a stern decision and fined Rishabh Pant, Shardul Thakur, Praveen Amre for their reaction during the game.

Delhi Capitals will come face to face against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 41st match of the ongoing Indian Premier League. Let’s see DC, who is currently standing at the 7th position can bounce back stronger in the next game or KKR will end up grabbing two important points.
