Wedding season is going on. In such a situation, another cricketer from Team India is going to tie the knot. Shardul Thakur is also planning to wed in February 2023, making KL Rahul, not the only Indian cricketer to get hitched early next year. The aggressive bowling all-arounder will wed Mittali Parulkar, who is also his fiancée. Mithali and Shardul only became engaged last year.

According to Thakur’s fiancée Parulkar, who was quoted by the Hindustan Times, the wedding will now take place on February 27, 2023. Additionally, Mithali provided information regarding the wedding preparations. Beginning on February 25, the pre-wedding rituals for Thakur and Parulkar will take place. Parulkar, Shardul Thakur’s fiancée, is the founder of a baking startup.

Butterflies in my stomach

The wedding will have between 200 and 250 guests, according to Mittali, who is also in charge of planning it because Shardul has a “packed” schedule that requires him to remain on playing duty until February 24. He will only attend the wedding on the first day of the festivities.

“I have butterflies in my stomach,” says Parulkar.

“His schedule is packed; he is playing until February 24 and will only be able to join by February 25. So, I have taken charge. We are expecting almost 200 to 250 guests at the wedding; it’s going to be too hectic,” Parulkar shares.

Shardul Thakur wedding venue 

The wedding will take place in Karjat, a town close to Mumbai. The future bride also disclosed that they had originally considered having a destination wedding in Goa but had changed their minds due to logistical challenges.

The Maharashtrian wedding will include a few surprises. The designers are being chosen by Mittali at this time. She disclosed that for the major wedding ceremony, she will wear a “nauvari” saree. She added that she would bake the wedding cake.
