Sourav Ganguly is celebrating his 40th birthday today.

Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian skipper, and current BCCI President turn 49 on July 8. The cricketing fraternity took a step forward poured wishes on social media wishing one of the finest skippers in the history of Indian cricket. Many big players wished for former Indian cricket. Sourav Ganguly is also known by the name of Dada in international cricket. He has several accolades on his name till now in batting. He managed more than 11,000 runs in international cricket with 38 centuries and 107 fifties. He holds the record for the highest score in an innings by a skipper (183 runs). Post-retirement, he used his hands in commentary, and now he is the active President of BCCI. And, the former opener took to social media and shared a cherishing post wishing Ganguly on his special day. He shared a still in which he can be seen riding a bike with a former skipper sitting at the back.

He took to his official Instagram handle and shared the post with a caption that read, “Dada ki gaadi mein savaar hoke, dada ke saath hi ride par. That’s what the ride was with @souravganguly for those 5 years. Wish you good health and happiness Dada in the coming year #happybirthdaydada.”

Sehwag then took to his Twitter official handle and shared another post that read, “Few could match Dada ka Junoon, Dada ka Iraada. May you be in good health and spirits always Dada. #HappyBirthdayDada.”
