Cricket Australia has announced the Test squad for the New Zealand tour. Meanwhile, they have also named the squad for five-T20Is. Matthew Wade has been axed from the Test squad for giving a poor performance in the recently concluded Test series against India. And, Alex Carey has replaced the former for the upcoming series vs South Africa.
Wade’s consistent poor run with the bat ruled him out of the Test squad. The former players and cricket pundits criticized the southpaw for throwing his wicket away. The left-handed batsman played irresponsible strokes and got out against Indian bowlers.
