And, the former won the game by a small margin of 5 runs. Meanwhile, the cricket fans got to watch some big sixes. But, one stroke that attracted everyone’s sight was Andre Fletcher’s trademark “No Look” six that landed directly in the stands.
Saint Lucia Kings managed 157 runs for a loss of five wickets in 20 overs. Rahkeem Cornwall and Andre Fletcher helped their side off to a flyer. They stitched a quick partnership of 51 runs in stipulated 5.4 overs. During the quickfire partnership, Fletcher brought his trademark stroke out in the game. In the fifth over of the innings, the West Indies international went for a “No Look” six off Isuru Udana’s full-length delivery and the ball directly landed in the stands. It was one heck of a stroke and the video of the same got viral on social media.
Andre Fletcher Brings Out His Trade-Mark Stroke
Coming onto the game, TKR is not having a good season and they have lost two out of their three games. They are struggling with the poor form of their star players like Lendle Simmons, Kieron Pollard. The duo is well known for their exploits in the shorter format of the game. But, this time their sluggish knock forced TKR to face their 2nd defeat of the season.
Tim Seifert played a brilliant cameo of 40 runs off 16 balls. But still, his side suffered defeat by a small margin of 5 runs. He collected five boundaries and three sixes for his side with the bat.
