West Indies: Owing to his performances in the U19 team and the domestic circuit, Kraigg Brathwaite was brought into the West Indies test squad in 2009.
However, the batsman would have to wait to make his debut. Kraigg officially made his debut for the West Indies on 20 May 2011 vs Pakistan. The batter would make his ODI debut more than five years later on 30 September 2016 vs Pakistan.
The opener became a regular in the West Indies test side in 2013. He played against New Zealand, Bangladesh, South Africa, and Sri Lanka between 2013 and 2014, hence becoming a regular in the West Indies Test team.
