World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has had 100s of different superstars since its inception in the 1900s. Vince McMahon hired all types of superstars and divas with different personalities. These included people as short as Hornswoggle and as heavy as Big Daddy V.

Each wrestler has had its positives and negatives based on its traits. One of the factors that have had a large positive on a wrestler is their height. Being a tall wrestler has always had its advantages in the WWE.

The Undertaker, Kane, Big Show, Andre the Giant, etc. are just a few of these names who went on to reach the highest peak in WWE. And their intimidating height was surely one of the key factors in their meteoric rise.

In this article, we will look at the top ten tallest wrestlers who have stepped foot in a WWE ring.

Giant Gonzalez (7’7″)

Giant Gonzalez is officially the tallest WWE wrestler ever. He wrestled with the WWF (The former name of WWE) for just 7 months. Gonzalez made his debut at the Royal Rumble event in 1993. He was billed at 8 feet tall but was originally 7’7″ in height. The Argentinian was part of the WWE for less than a year. In that period he had a feud with The Undertaker.

Their feud had two heated matches at Wrestlemania IX and Summerslam in 1993. He left the WWE in the same year. Gonzalez sadly passed away in Argentina in 2010.

Andre the Giant is one of the best-known wrestlers in the Pro-Wrestling world. He will always be known as the first “Giant” of Wrestling.

The French Wrestler made his debut with the WWF in 1973. He was billed as a “special attraction”. He was a part of the First Wrestlemania and had various high-profile feuds in his career. Andre the Giant’s Wrestlemania III match against Hulk Hogan is still regarded as one of the best matches of all time.

Andre left the WWF in 1991 and retired a year later. He passed away in France in 1993 aged 46.

Giant Silva (7’2″)

Giant Silva is a Professional Wrestler from Brazil. He made his debut with the WWF in 1998.

His time with WWF was not very memorable. He was part of the Oddities faction and wrestled only as a tag team wrestler. He was released from the company in 1999.

Silva would go on to wrestle in other promotions until 2011.

“The World’s Largest Athlete” is officially the 7th tallest WWE Wrestler. Big Show made his WWF debut in 1999. Over the years he has had a lot of special rivalries with wrestlers including the likes of John Cena, The Undertaker, Randy Orton, Edge, and others.

Big Show was always considered as the successor to Andre The Giant. One of his most noteworthy feuds happened at Wrestlemania 24 when he took on Floyd Mayweather. He left the company in 2021 and is currently working with the AEW.
