England’s star all-rounder Ben Stokes is gearing up to make a sensational return to England Test squad after recovering from his mental health illness. The southpaw is part of England’s Ashes squad that will take the field in the 1st Test starting on 8th December at The Gabba in Brisbane. Ahead of the much-awaited series, Ben Stokes has shown a good glimpse of his batting and a video clip of the same has got viral on social media. The left-handed all-rounder is seriously hitting the England bowlers all across the park on the back of his batting.

Ben Stokes took an indefinite break from international cricket back in July. This is the reason why he didn’t feature in the Indian Premier League 2021 that was held in UAE. However, now he is set to mark his comeback in cricket in the Ashes.

He was set to play a warm-up game against England Lions. But, the game was marred by the rain. He might play in the warm-up intra-squad match, starting from November 30. On the other hand, Australia will play a three-day intra-squad warm-up game from December 1.

Looking forward to Ben Stokes in 2021 Ashes, his inclusion gives a much-needed boost to England. And, the three-lions hold a big chance of finishing their drought Ashes win in Australia. The three lions have ended up on the losing end against Australia in Australia.

Australia has suffered a big blow as their regular Test skipper Tim Paine stepped down from Australia’s captaincy. He has taken an indefinite break from cricket just before the prestigious Ashes series. Now, Cricket Australia has picked Pat Cummins as the skipper of Australia and Steve Smith marks his return to the leadership post. The latter is appointed as the vice-captain of the Australia Cricket team in red-ball cricket.

Currently, Australia is the Ashes holder and they have won more number series since 2019 played between Australia and England.
