Gujarat Titans got to a poor start as they lost their 4 wickets at a score of 48 runs. It looked like CSK will go home registering an easy 2nd consecutive win. But that didn’t happen and David Miller had some different plans.

After a long time, fans got to witness the old ” Killer Miller” against Chennai Super Kings. The southpaw was smashing CSK bowlers all across the park. He gathered 8 boundaries and 6 sixes during his unbeaten 94-run knock. In the final over, GT needed 13 runs to win the game. Miller went for a six on the 3rd delivery followed by a boundary on the 4th delivery of the over. On the penultimate delivery of the final over, Miller scored two runs in order to grab a thrilling win over CSK.

Post-Match, Abhinav Manohar said that David Miller played a world-class knock against CSK. He added that during his batting he was sitting at one place and didn’t miss out on a single delivery.

“Miller played a blinder, and so did Rashid. I was sitting in the same place, I didn’t move. It was a great team effort today. Lots of pressure for Rashid today, he bowled well. There is no pressure from the management, I just want to go out there and express myself, so I am enjoying myself,” he said after the match.
