In 2013, just before The International 2023, it was initially launched. A few months before The International,

The Compendium was published and sold until the conclusion of the competition. Typically, Compendium gives roughly 25% of its overall revenue to the prize pool of the competition.

But earlier this year, Valve issued a statement stating that it would not be focused on the cosmetics part of the seasonal pass and would instead concentrate on providing fresh and entertaining features to the game.

It said that it was purposely avoiding referring to this update as a Battlepass.

Valve has not yet disclosed the exact release date or cost of the TI12 Compendium. On the 26th or 27th of September, it is anticipated to be offered for sale on the Steam store.

Players should anticipate paying roughly $10 USD for the Compendiums, which is likely to be close to prior Compendium prices.
