Minecraft 1.20.1

Mojang has enabled the release of the Minecraft 1.20.1 release candidate 1 immediately after the 1.20 update.

Even though the game developer just released an official build of their significant update, they still needed to address a few bugs that were discovered almost immediately after it went live on June 7.

A number of problems with the official version were resolved, and the updated Minecraft 1.20.1 official version will soon be available.

These sorts of sandbox games still need some things to be worked out despite several testing and beta version periods.

As a result, Mojang had to release a new candidate right away to address the problems. The official Minecraft 1.20 version won’t be available for long since 1.20.1 will shortly take its place.

Minecraft 1.20.1 Release Candidate 1 Patch Notes

  • Fixed a disk permissions-related crash
  • The realms invitation icon that appears on the realms button in the main menu is displayed incorrectly
  • Buttons in the “Add Realm” interface within the realms menu no longer render
  • Game softlocks after canceling joining a server
  • Incorrect Protochunk#setStatus call on chunk generate

Along with all the bug fixes, the release candidate adds a new language: Latin Serbian.

How to download the 1.20.1 version

It’s really simple to get the most recent release candidate of the game.

  • Players may access the official game launcher and look for the “latest snapshot” version in the drop-down menu as it is exclusively for Java Edition.
  • “1.20.1-RC1” will be put underneath the main name, indicating that it is the most recent version.
  • Players must activate any snapshot versions from the “Installation” page if they are unable to view them.
  • Just choose it and press play.

All the files required to execute the release candidate version will be downloaded automatically by the launcher.
